What is Website Traffic? 

Website traffic is the number of users that venture to a specific website. Similar to car traffic on the interstate or foot traffic for a brick and mortar store. High referral traffic shows Google that users enjoy your website enough to share it enough on their own web pages. These links are considered backlinks to your website. A strong rapport of backlinks from various sites can greatly improve referral traffic and search engine ranking as well. 


Social Traffic

Social traffic is our third time of web traffic. Social traffic is any traffic that comes from social media platforms such as FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter, and so forth. Every time a social media user clicks a link that is embedded in a post, image, or video, that will count towards your social traffic volume. Social traffic is a great indicator of how your posts are doing on social media and how engaging your brand truly is. 


Organic Traffic  

The last form of traffic is organic traffic. Organic traffic is any user that came to your website from a search engine result page (SERP) such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, and so on. This unpaid traffic truly shows how much users are finding you when they type in keywords that your organization is (hopefully) going after. A strong search engine optimization strategy can capture immense value with organic traffic.
